Great desert of Merzouga 8 days
DAY 1: AIRPORT / MARRAKECH
Arrival and private transfer to the hotel. The first attraction will be Jeemaa El Fna Park and its surroundings.
DAY 2: MARRAKECH
Breakfast. Tour of Marrakech and its numerous world heritage monuments. Visit to the Koutobia minaret (c. XIII), sister of la Giralda in Seville. A beautiful tower that today works as a lighthouse and spiritual center of the city.
We continue are journey to the Saadianas Toombs (c. XVI) where the main crypt is made of Carrara marble. We then visit the Bay Palace, the old residence belonging to the Visir. A fine example of medieval Muslim culture in which the ambassadors hall is remarkable. We continue by walking to the Jema el F´naa park, the central point of the medina from which all the winding roads start. During the morning the place is filled with fruit vendors, baskets and sweets etc. At the end of the afternoon, when the park is illuminated, everything looks magical

DAY 3: MARRAKECH – GARGANTAS DEL DADES
Breakfast at the hotel. Travel in private transport to the Dades Gorges (known as the valley of a thousand kasbahs ). On route we visit the Tizi n’Tichka gateway ( 2610mts ) until we reachOuarzazate.

kasbah, we´ll pass by the amazing Valley of Roses, famous for its rose fields and reach the palm grove at Skoura, Here we´ll stay to take some pictures and refreshments. The road of the kasbahs is a series of citadels of adobe. They are located between the desert and the mountains and is a magical place due to the contrasts and silence. Arrival at the Dades Valley. DAY 4: DADES VALLEY –TODRA GORGE – MERZOUGA
Breakfast and departure for another of nature´s wonders: The Todra Falls.The Todra river runs along a 300 metre gorge. A natural paradise for rock climbers and nature lovers.
We continue our journey to the desert. The tough road leads us to the Amazigh, people, also known as the Berbers.
Reaching Erfoud, main town of the Tafilalet, with an oasis of 5.000 hectares and more than 300.000 Date palms.
Visit to a fossil extraction site where we can learn about the aquatic life that formed once before the Sahara existed
Continue to (Erg Chebbi) Dinner and stay at hotel
DAY 5: 4×4 desert experience
Today is dedicated to enjoy the most spectacular part of the Sahara We´ll enter the desert on a 4X4 and visit nomad posts, oasis and horseback ride through the dunes of Erg Chebbi.
Following the road we visit the famous town of Khamlia where the Gnawa people (descendants of sub-Saharan slaves) live, and enjoy their surprising folkloric music.
At dusk we´ll return to the hotel to fetch the camels that will take us to the Berber camp in the heart of the dunes where we´ll have dinner and spend the night.
DAY 6: MEZOUGA – AL NIF – NKOB – AGAZ – OUARZAZATE
We wake up early to see the spectacular sunrise over the dunes of the Sahara . We continue to Rissani, Rissani. Situated 22 kilometres from Erfoud, in a palm grove. The city is attractive both for its environment as for its history given that the city is considered the inheritor of ancient capital of Tafi Lalet, Sijil Masa.We stop at Agdez to see the beauty of the Draa palm grove then continue to OuarzazateArrival, dinner and lodging
DAY 7: OUARZAZATE – AIT BEN HADOU – MARRAKECH (213 KM)
Breakfast in Ouarzazate, also known as the pearl of the south, Visitto the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, la largest Kasbah in Morocco, built by T- Hami El Glaoui, one of the last Berber chiefs from the beginning of the 20th century. It is now declared a UNESCO world heritage site. The kasbah has been the site for films like Gladiator, Star Wars etc. Lunch and continue to Marrakesh. Hotel/riad and breakfast
DAY 8: MARRAKESH – AIRPORT
Breakfast and transfer to the airport.
